Mandate Even though most issues are of high need, prioritizing issues and weighing the capacity of the organization before intervention is the strength of the organization. The Goodwill Foundation considered it important to work on issues of women & child development as it is the woman who is the “present” and the child our “future” in basic empowerment relating to Agriculture and Livestock, Literacy, Micro-Credit, Skills training for which there is high need and high capacity. At the same time its aims is to improve its capacity where the need is still very high like Gender issues and women’s development, micro-enterprises, health and sanitation. In other issues like environment nurturing, policy advocacy, eradication of social evils, and networking projects are slow in venture.
